What to Expect from a Six Animal Reiki Session Reiki for animals is a gentle and non-invasive energy healing technique that helps to activate the animal's natural self-healing abilities. What Does a Six Alchemy Animal Reiki Session Entail? A Six Alchemy 60-minute Animal Reiki session is designed to provide your pet with a thorough and personalized healing experience which consists of: Consultation via Zoom! or Home Visit (5-10 minutes): A week before your session, we will spend time discussing your animal's needs and concerns, your goals for the session, including information on the animal’s health/well-being, and past and present veterinary diagnoses. This helps me to tailor the session to your animal's specific requirements. Reiki Animal Distance or Home Visit Treatment (40-45 minutes): Animal Reiki sessions typically depend entirely on how much Reiki energy the animal wishes to receive, which is usually around 30-45 minutes. During a home visit, I allow the animal to come closer and seek a hands-on therapy session if they wish. Animal Reiki is most beneficial when the animal is resting and not distracted and may be preferred hands-off (a few inches to a few feet away), or via distance. Your animal may feel sensations such as warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation as the energy flows through them. Debriefing (5-10 minutes): After the treatment, I will take time to answer any questions you may have and provide guidance on how to continue supporting your animal's healing process, in-person on via a scheduled telephone call after treatment. Follow-Up (15-20 minutes): Within a week of your session, I will schedule a follow-up telephone call to check in on your animal's progress, address any additional questions, and offer further support.
